Hey, I'm Alex. I run a bioinformatics startup called Goodwright. We're building a platform called Flow. I have a PhD in Computational Neuroscience / Machine Learning for Human Behaviour from Imperial College London, but these days I work in the intersection between genomics and web software.

Academically, I spent most of the last 5 years researching the links between brain and behaviour, and building data-driven behavioural prediction models.

This interest has carried over to the web, where I work on user interface design, and trying to build intuitive, easy-to-use software.

Other things I like to do include drumming, fishing, playing badminton, computer networking and filmmaking.
